The new solutions include: Direct Customers Product Change Management  This solution enables ON Semiconductor to communicate individually with its direct-buy customers. It closes the loop on workflow by automatically notifying customers of changes and then providing ON Semiconductor with acknowledgement and confirmation of the customer's receipt of changes. Customized to identify products using both ON Semiconductor's catalog part numbers and the customer's own part numbers, the new system is inherently user-friendly. Indirect Customers Product Change Management This solution addresses the needs of customers that purchase ON Semiconductor products through distributors or other indirect channels. To support this supply chain, ON Semiconductor's new process directly notifies all its indirect distribution channels of product changes and discontinuations so the information can be promptly passed on to their customers. Ultimately, this solution helps all indirect customers reduce their cycle times and lessen their chances of missing change notices.
